Published 6 times a year by S. Karger AG, P.O. Box, CH–4009 Basel. The Journal of Vascular Research publishes original articles and reviews of scientific excellence in vascular and microvascular biology, physiology and pathophysiology. The scope of the journal covers a broad spectrum of vascular and lymphatic research including vascular structure, vascular function, haemodynamics, mechanics, cell signalling, intercellular communication, growth and differentiation. Papers employing cellular, biophysical and molecular techniques, as well as more classical and clinical approaches are welcome. Manuscript processing times are, consistent with strin-gent review, held to 5 weeks for the first decision, and 3 weeks for Rapid Communications .
